Visa on Arrival (VOA) at Bangkok airports

Some nationalities can obtain Visa on Arrival at Suvarnabhumi (BKK) or Don Mueang (DMK). Rules and eligible countries change; always confirm with the Royal Thai Immigration or your airline before you fly.

How VOA fits with fast track

• VOA desk is a separate queue and fee from normal immigration.
• Fast track meet-and-assist does not include the VOA fee or the VOA waiting line.
• After VOA is stamped in your passport, your greeter can guide you through the priority immigration lane where airport rules allow.

Typical documents

Passport valid at least six months, return ticket, hotel address, passport photo if required, and the VOA fee in acceptable currency (check current THB amount before travel).

Planning time

VOA can add 30 to 60 minutes on top of regular immigration at busy times. Book fast track if you want help after VOA, and pad your schedule for tight connections.
